El Chico is an art gallery that explores alternative pathways, bringing together both local and international perspectives. Moving away from traditional gallery norms, we focus on the connections between artists and their environment, serving as a platform for projects in which different disciplines interact. Born out of various experiences in the cultural industry, our project aims to challenge existing models through exhibitions and activities that highlight the need for local unity.

Our mission is to represent and collaborate with emerging and mid-career artists, advancing their practices through exhibitions, discussions, podcasts and performances, creating a dynamic space for dialogue, transformation and the unexplored. We do what we haven't done before, and the future will reveal the rest.
